About the Villa:
The villa itself stands on a sloping, terraced lawn at the heart of the estate’s 25-acre olive farm. A sun-soaked flagstone courtyard separates the main farmhouse from the 2 bedroom guesthouse. The villa itself oozes traditional Tuscan charm, with terracotta floors, grand open fireplaces and warm wood-beamed ceilings. Antique furnishings and hand-painted walls add elegant flourishes throughout the interior.
French doors lead from the kitchen out onto the garden and the shaded dining loggia, equipped with a barbeque, where your private chef will serve your dinner each evening.This peaceful setting is just one of the many outdoor dining and seating areas for alfresco living at Il Cortile Pratolino. The shaded seating area beyond the kitchen is the perfect place for evening aperitivo.
With views across the surrounding hills, this intimate living space is enclosed by fragrant herbs, flowers and the odd cypress tree.
The pool is lined with plenty of teak loungers for lazy days soaking up the sun and another shaded dining area. Weather ranges around 78 degrees during the day.
Manicured lawns surround the villa and lead down to the oval-shaped infinity pool, which is where you will enjoy the property’s most spectacular panoramic views.

Breakfast buffet is served outside between 8.00am and 10.00am each morning from Sunday to Friday when the weather permits.

Tuscan inspired meals prepared by a private chef.
Dinner is served every day except for Tuesday between 7.00pm and 9.00pm either outside under the loggia or in the dining room.
The villa courtyard also has a cosy little nook for catching up with a loved one in front of a large stone fireplace.

Il Cortile Pratolino sits within a 100-acre estate surrounded by olive groves in the Valdarno, a valley between Arezzo and Florence.

The cultural landmarks of Florence and Siena are both within an hour’s drive of the Il Cortile Pratolino, while the ancient centre of Arezzo is just 45 minutes away.
In an area known for its food and wine, not to mention splendid scenery. Montegonzi, 2km/1.5 miles, has the nearest food shop although Cavriglia, 8km/5 miles, has a better selection - and an excellent restaurant. From here a beautiful road leads into Chianti - Radda-in-Chianti is a 20-minute drive. Not to be missed is the Thursday morning market at Montevarchi, 12km/8 miles. Florence and Arezzo, a beautiful city with a famous antiques market, are both reached in 45 minutes.

If you are craving Sangiovese, the famed Chiantishire with its incomparable beauty is also within 12km of the villa. Radda in Chianti is just 20 minutes away by car, while the wonderful morning market at Montevarchi (12km) is well worth a visit.
